Assuring Quality: International Congress of DGI

DGI's upcoming congress will be held from November 24–26 2016 in Hamburg, Germany. The motto: assuring quality – the corridor to success in implantology.There will be simultaneous translations available from German to English.

Furthering Academic Education in Oral Implantology

The DGI is cooperating with the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main to offer graduates of its continuing education courses an international renowned postgraduate master of science program in the field of oral implantology.

Congratulations: International Curriculum in Cairo 

The final course of an international Curriculum on August 27th. Happy participants with Prof. Dr. Frank Schwarz, president of the DGI. The participants will have their final exam during DGI's 30th congress in Hamburg, Germany, in November.

Continuing Education

DGI's goal  is to set the gold standard in continuing education in  implantology. More than 5,000 practitioners have successfully completed DGI's courses, which are offered in several countries.


The e.Academy is DGI’s new, modular, multi-media e-learning program to assist the participants in DGI's continous educations programs.




The DGI offers many benefits to its members,ranging from education to special ressources for members.



In cooperation with other organizations the DGI has initiated and published guidelines for dental implantology

International Journal

Together with its Japanese partner JSOI, the DGI publishes an international journal, the IJID
